Risk Management
This series comprises a two-step certification process to build capacity for health care professionals who are involved in risk management and safety activities in their own organizations.
The first step is the Essentials in Risk Management Program which provides participants with a thorough understanding of health care risk management, as it should be practiced in current health care environments from hospitals, to home care and home support organizations, community-based services, residential and long term care within the continuum of health services.
The Certified Risk Management Officer Program is the second step of the certification process, targeting the successful candidates of the Essentials in Risk Management Program. It provides participants with the most advanced skills and the in-depth approach to health care risk management, as it should be practiced across the health care continuum.
